ACCOUNTANT - EXTERNAL @ REVEURSE
Reveurse, a leading consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented External Accountant to join its professional team in Dar es Salaam. The primary focus of this role is to manage and maintain accurate financial records for various client portfolios, ensuring all bookkeeping and reconciliations are performed with high precision. The candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
Furthermore, the position involves managing tax compliance, including the timely filing of all statutory returns, and handling accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will also perform bank reconciliations, support payroll processing, and provide valuable financial insights to support business decision-making. Working from the Msasani Village office, the accountant will ensure all documentation is audit-ready and will play a critical role in analyzing financial performance for consultancy clients.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent is required or in progress.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax laws.
Proven experience in preparing financial statements and statutory filings for clients.
Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with extreme attention to detail.
Excellent client management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and meet strict deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
