REVÉURSE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clearing and Forwarding Officer to join our team in the automotive sector. This role involves managing the end-to-end customs clearance process for both import and export shipments, ensuring that all operations are handled with precision and in strict accordance with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for navigating customs systems and ensuring that cargo moves through borders and ports without unnecessary delays. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting all necessary declaration documents, operating systems like TANCIS and TANESW/TeSWS, and coordinating directly with logistics partners and shipping lines. This position is based in our Dar es Salaam offices, strategically located near the Dar Fish Market in Msasani Village, though you may be required to coordinate activities across various port and border points. Beyond the technical aspects of customs processing, this role requires a strategic thinker who can calculate duties and taxes accurately while classifying goods under the correct HS Codes. We are looking for a professional who can maintain strong communication channels with customs authorities and internal stakeholders to provide real-time updates on shipment status and resolve any logistical challenges that may arise during the clearance process.
