FLEET CONTROLLER @ REMU LOGISTICS LIMITED
Remu Logistics Limited is seeking a qualified and proactive Fleet Controller to join our operational team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously coordinating the loading operations for our fleet across various fuel compliance points. You will be tasked with coordinating truck schedules with fuel terminal staff, ensuring proper documentation for all fuel loads, and liaising with terminal operators and drivers for seamless operations. Prior extensive experience specifically within the Tanzanian fuel transport sector is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
The position also involves monitoring and reporting on loading efficiency, gate turnaround times, and communicating loading priorities or potential delays to management. You will verify driver compliance with terminal and company safety protocols, manage terminal relations, and resolve loading-related issues as they arise. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating fleet maintenance scheduling around loading activities and monitor vehicle tracking systems during loading and entry/exit processes.

Key Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
At least five (5) years of professional experience in the Tanzanian fuel industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Tanzanian fuel terminal landscape and operations.
Deep understanding of Tanzanian road transport and safety regulations for dangerous goods.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks or urgent issues effectively.
Experience with vehicle tracking systems and monitoring entry/exit logs.
Ability to prepare detailed daily reports on fuel loading and fleet activities.
Proven ability to maintain professional relations with terminal operators and stakeholders.
