ACCOUNTANT @ REFON
Refon, a company operating within the Microfinance and Technologies sector, is currently seeking a diligent and skilled Accountant to join our finance department in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company invoices, ensuring the timely submission of tax returns, and handling daily operations within the TRA portal. You will play a crucial role in maintaining tax-related records and monitoring compliance to mitigate potential financial risks for the organization.
Beyond tax administration, this role involves preparing comprehensive financial and management reports to support organizational decision-making. You will also assist in daily accounting tasks and financial reconciliations. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
4 years of professional accounting work experience.
In-depth familiarity with Tanzanian tax regulations and TRA procedures.
Strong proficiency in computer applications.
Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Demonstrated honesty and trustworthiness in financial dealings.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven capacity to meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
