TECHNICAL PRESALES CONSULTANT – PALO ALTO NETWORKS (PANW) @ REDINGTON MIDDLE EAST
Redington Middle East is seeking a dedicated Technical Presales Consultant to support and drive the Palo Alto Networks business across the region. This pivotal role involves acting as a core technical expert, working closely with sales teams, partners, and customers to design, architect, and optimize cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for creating high-level solution designs, conducting Proof-of-Concept engagements, and providing expert technical presentations that align with specific customer requirements and business goals. In addition to pre-sales activities, this role encompasses essential post-sales responsibilities to ensure successful customer outcomes. You will be tasked with deploying, configuring, and optimizing Palo Alto security platforms while providing both onsite and remote technical support. As a local escalation point, you will collaborate with technical assistance centers to troubleshoot complex network issues, perform security posture reviews, and implement industry best practices to guarantee maximum system performance and security for all clients.
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks core technologies including PA-Series and VM-Series hardware.
Proficiency in configuring Security Policies, NAT, Routing, Decryption, and AAA services.
Deep understanding of High Availability, Load Balancing, SD-WAN, and IoT Security modules.
Extensive expertise in using Panorama for centralized network security management.
Working knowledge of Threat Prevention features such as App-ID, Content-ID, WildFire, and URL Filtering.
Proven ability to implement and manage GlobalProtect VPN using IPSec and SSL protocols.
Experience with user identity integration using LDAP and Active Directory.
Solid foundation in L2/L3 networking and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related technical field.
A minimum of 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience specifically with Palo Alto Networks NGFW platforms.
Possession of industry certifications such as PCNSE, PCNSA, or PSE Strata Professional.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer-facing workshops and demonstrations.
Ability to lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) validations and solution sizing for clients.
Capability to act as a technical escalation point and coordinate with vendor support teams.
