Red Envelope Consultants LLP is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Branch Accountant to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong financial control, ensuring the integrity of inventory, and overseeing daily accounting functions to support our branch operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and compliance within a fast-paced environment.
As a Branch Accountant, you will handle cash reconciliations, manage banking activities, and perform periodic stock verification. We are looking for an individual who can maintain accurate ERP records and provide timely financial reporting to senior management. Training will be provided for the first three months to ensure you are well-integrated into our systems and company culture.

Key Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in the Manufacturing or FMCG industry is preferred
Proficiency in ERP software is mandatory
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage cash, banking, and daily financial controls
Proven capability in maintaining and verifying inventory records
Understanding of statutory and regulatory financial compliance
Ability to prepare accurate periodic financial reports
Commitment to safeguarding company assets and equipment
