PRODUCTION MANAGER @ RECROOT AFRICA
We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the marketing and printing industry for a Production Manager based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and the timely delivery of projects. The ideal candidate should bring strong leadership, technical knowledge of print production, and the ability to coordinate across various departments to ensure smooth operations. The manager will be tasked with planning, scheduling, and managing daily production workflows across multiple technologies including digital, litho, and silkscreen. Key duties include managing and leading production staff to drive performance, monitoring equipment utilization, and maintaining high standards of cost efficiency. Coordination with sales, design, and distribution teams is essential for successful project execution and continuous improvement within the facility.
Key Requirements
Proven 3+ years of experience in the printing and marketing production industry.
Strong understanding of print processes and production workflows.
Leadership and team management experience.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of digital, litho, and silkscreen print technologies.
Experience in quality control and maintaining cost efficiency.
Strong coordination skills to work with sales, design, and distribution teams.
Ability to monitor equipment utilization and handle basic maintenance schedules.
Capacity to drive performance and continuous improvement among production staff.
