LABORATORY TECHNICIAN @ RECROOT AFRICA
Recroot Africa is currently seeking a diligent and safety-focused Laboratory Technician to join the Mkange Graphite Project team located in the Handeni District, Tanga Region, Tanzania. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality control and operational efficiency within our mineral processing laboratory facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the mining operations by providing accurate data that drives project success.
Key duties involve the precise preparation and testing of various ore, concentrate, and process samples to ensure compliance with industry standards. Furthermore, the technician will be responsible for meticulous record-keeping, timely reporting, and the regular maintenance of laboratory equipment. The role requires a professional committed to safety protocols and environmental health standards, ensuring that all laboratory activities are conducted in a secure and organized manner.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Applied Sciences, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in a mining, mineral processing, or industrial laboratory
Knowledge of sample preparation and analytical test methods
Basic computer skills
LIMS familiarity is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrable safety awareness
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to maintain high standards of housekeeping in a lab environment
Strong commitment to accurate data recording and reporting
