FIELD SERVICES HSE LEADER @ RECRCOT AFRICA
Recrcot AFRICA is seeking a dedicated Field Services HSE Leader to join their dynamic team in Tanzania. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading health, safety, and environmental compliance across various project sites, substations, and field operations. Your primary objective will be to foster a robust "Safety First" culture, ensuring that all field operations adhere to the highest standards of safety and environmental protection. You will conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, while also facilitating toolbox talks and delivering HSE inductions to staff, subcontractors, and visitors.
As the HSE Leader, you will play a critical role in investigating incidents and near-misses, tracking corrective actions to closure to prevent future occurrences. You will support the development of site-specific HSE plans, oversee PPE compliance, and manage environmental controls. This position requires someone with a strong background in high-risk environments like energy or construction, who can effectively manage safety protocols in remote field locations and substations. The role involves significant coordination with various stakeholders to ensure that all team members Think Safe, Work Safe, and Go Home Safe.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in field services, construction, energy, oil & gas, or EPC environments.
Proven experience working on project sites, substations, or remote field locations.
Strong knowledge of HSE audits, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies.
Deep understanding of safe work practices in high-risk environments.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 are highly preferred.
First Aid or Fire Safety certification is an added advantage.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Proficiency in Swahili and/or French is a significant asset.
Ability to deliver HSE inductions and emergency response training effectively.
Strong leadership skills to promote a Safety First culture among staff and subcontractors.
