RECEPTIONIST @ RAMADA RESORT DAR
Ramada Beach Resort is seeking a professional, well-presented, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth front desk operations in line with Ramada brand standards. Key duties include welcoming and checking in/out guests efficiently, handling reservations, and managing cancellations or guest inquiries. The role involves managing phone calls and responding to emails promptly while processing payments and maintaining accurate billing records. Coordination with housekeeping and other departments is essential to ensure a seamless guest experience. The Receptionist will also be expected to upsell room categories, promote hotel services, and prepare daily arrival and departure reports while maintaining a clean and organized reception area. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while adhering to international hospitality standards.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a hotel front office
Proficiency in Opera or other Property Management Systems (PMS)
Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Well-presented and professional appearance
Ability to handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution
Competency in processing payments and maintaining accurate billing records
Knowledge of preparing daily arrival and departure reports
