Ramada Resort by Wyndham is seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Food & Beverage to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with the oversight of daily operations within the department. This includes ensuring that all service standards are consistently met across various outlets, maintaining high levels of efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment for all staff members.
Key responsibilities involve conducting regular operational checks, managing staff duty rosters, and monitoring employee performance to ensure peak productivity. The Assistant F&B will also be responsible for maintaining strong guest relations, handling VIP arrangements, and ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. By coordinating effectively with kitchen and bar teams, the individual will help streamline service flow and contribute to the overall excellence of the resort's hospitality offerings.

Key Requirements
Diploma /Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience as a F&B Assistant in a hospitality setting.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset in a multicultural environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lead and supervise a diverse team effectively.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills for roster preparation.
Proven ability to handle guest complaints and emergency situations professionally.
