RainbowAgro is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Agronomist to join our team in the Arusha Region of Tanzania. This role is pivotal for driving our regional channel operations, managing dealer relationships, and executing field marketing promotions to achieve our sales targets. As a Sales Agronomist, you will be expected to immerse yourself in the local agricultural landscape, understanding crop protection needs, pest management, and local farming practices. You will lead field demonstrations, conduct training sessions for farmers, and coordinate with our regional dealer network to enhance our market penetration. This position requires someone who is not only skilled in sales and marketing but also deeply passionate about agriculture and capable of navigating the unique challenges of the regional market effectively.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 6 years of experience in agrochemical sales or field marketing.
Proven expertise in pesticide and fertilizer market operations.
Deep familiarity with Arusha's crop layout, pests, and local farming habits.
Established network of local dealers and stable customer relationships.
Strong ability to create and execute regional sales and seasonal promotion plans.
Experience in organizing and leading field demonstrations and farmer training programs.
Track record of achieving and exceeding sales KPIs, including volume and market share targets.
Outstanding negotiation, communication, and market insight skills.
Willingness to undertake frequent travel and work in rural field environments.
