PROGRAM MANAGER – MWALIMU KWANZA, ELIMU BORA PROJECT (1 POST) @ RAFIKI-SDO
The Program Manager for the Mwalimu Kwanza, Elimu Bora Project at Rafiki-SDO is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategic direction and coordination of teacher motivation initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves maintaining strong partnerships with local government authorities, schools, and other key stakeholders in the Geita and Shinyanga regions.
Beyond daily management, the Program Manager is tasked with integrating core values such as gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding into all project facets. They will provide technical guidance to staff, prepare comprehensive narrative and financial reports, and ensure compliance with donor policies. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of driving impact through adaptive management and capacity-building efforts for teachers and school leaders.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management (education/community development preferred)
Proven experience in managing donor-funded projects
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
In-depth knowledge of gender equality, safeguarding, and inclusion
Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills
Commitment to Rafiki-SDO values and child safeguarding principles
Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision
Willingness to travel frequently to field sites in Geita and Shinyanga
High level of integrity and professionalism
