PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT @ RADAR RECRUITMENT
The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's payroll system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. This role involves maintaining payroll records, reconciling payroll accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience specifically with payroll processes, compensation, and benefits administration.Key duties include preparing payroll reports, processing new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries. Experience within the FMCG industry is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of the specific operational and accounting needs of fast-moving consumer goods companies. The Payroll Accountant will contribute to maintaining financial integrity and employee satisfaction through meticulous payroll management.
Key Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Preferably CPA certified.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in Accounting.
Experience in FMCG industry is preferred.
Experience in Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits administration.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations (Tanzania).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for payroll discrepancies.
Good communication skills for interacting with employees and management.
