CIVIL WORK FOREMAN @ PROPAV
Propav is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Work Foreman to join our project team in Pemba. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring that all civil works are completed according to technical specifications and safety standards. This role involves managing a team of workers, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring that project deadlines are met efficiently. The project is expected to last for three years, with an initial contract tenure of six months that is renewable based on performance.
The position requires a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering and at least four years of hands-on experience in a supervisory capacity. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to maintain health and safety protocols on the job site. Key Requirements
Certificate and above in Civil engineering
4 years and above of experience in civil work supervisory roles
Ability to interpret and execute technical engineering drawings
Strong leadership skills to manage and direct on-site work crews
Excellent communication skills for reporting project progress
Deep knowledge of construction health and safety regulations
Proven ability to manage resources and materials efficiently
Experience in maintaining strict project timelines and deadlines
Commitment to the 3-year project duration in Pemba
Flexibility to work within a 6-month renewable contract structure
