RIG ADMIN (OFFICE BASED) @ PROJECT1 CAREERS
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Rig Admin / Radio Operator to join our team in Port Harcourt. This office-based role involves coordinating daily rig-related administrative and operational affairs, serving as a vital liaison between the rig site and the management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing operational reports, tracking crew updates, and maintaining accurate records of rig activities and incidents to ensure smooth workflow.
The role requires a candidate with significant experience in rig operations and field coordination, combined with a strong commitment to HSE standards. Responsibilities include monitoring communication flow between field personnel and the head office, ensuring timely escalation of issues, and assisting with scheduling and compliance tracking. Occasional travel to field locations may be required to support onsite activities to ensure operational compliance and documentation accuracy.

Key Requirements
5–8 years relevant experience in rig administration or offshore/onshore operations support
Must have previous experience working as a Radio Operator and/or Rig Admin
Strong understanding of rig operations, reporting structure, and field coordination
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
HSE-conscious with good knowledge of operational compliance
Willingness to travel to field locations from time to time
Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline
Offshore exposure is an added advantage
