The role involves acting as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information regarding travel itineraries, pricing, and destination trends across various communication channels such as phone, email, and social media. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all aspects of reservations, from initial inquiries to final confirmations and potential cancellations. This requires close coordination with airlines, hotels, and international travel partners to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients. Additionally, the role demands staying informed about changing visa requirements and global travel trends to provide expert advice and maintain the high-quality customer service standards expected by the firm.
Key Requirements
Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in the Tourism and Hospitality industry
Basic computer knowledge including MS Office and email systems
Proficiency in online booking systems and travel software
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organizational and time management abilities
Ability to handle travel bookings including flights, hotels, and tour packages
Capability to process reservations, confirmations, and cancellations accurately
Willingness to stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and visa requirements
IATA certification is considered an added advantage
Ability to coordinate effectively with airlines and travel partners
Strong problem-solving skills for managing travel disruptions
