IT MANAGER @ PRARTHNA ACHYUTAM
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing plant-wide IT infrastructure, network operations, and system security within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a professional who can ensure authorized access to company systems, implement IT policies, and monitor communication across factory network hubs, including SAP and IQS systems.
In addition to technical oversight, the IT Manager will supervise the maintenance of all IT assets, from desktops and printers to fiber networks and CCTV systems. You will lead daily IT review meetings to address operational challenges and ensure high connectivity performance. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for preparing and updating network diagrams and reviewing existing VLAN architecture to optimize network efficiency and security. Key Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of networking, VLANs, fiber optics, and IT infrastructure management.
In-depth understanding of SAP connectivity and IQS systems.
Hands-on experience with CCTV systems and mobile connectivity monitoring.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware including desktops, laptops, and printers.
Ability to implement and maintain robust IT policies and procedures.
Strong team management capabilities to lead daily IT operational meetings.
Expertise in preparing and reviewing complex network diagrams and VLAN architectures.
Experience in supervising the installation and maintenance of fiber networks and cabling.
Solid understanding of data security and authorized access management protocols.
