PPFZE is actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Sales Engineer to join its team. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to drive sales growth within the industrial sector, focusing on mechanical and instrumentation products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the company's market presence and fostering strong client relationships.
The core responsibilities for this position include generating new business opportunities and RFQs, promoting and selling a range of Piping, Valves & Instrumentation products, and preparing comprehensive techno-commercial quotations and proposals. The role also requires close coordination with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, managing client relationships, and diligently following up on quotations to negotiate and close sales orders, ultimately contributing to the achievement of annual sales targets. The position is based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, with a hybrid work model.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales/trading of Mechanical & Instrumentation products
Strong knowledge of Pipes, Valves, Flanges, Fittings & Instrumentation
Experience handling RFQs, techno-commercial quotations & customer relationships
Exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Mining, Cement, F&B or related industries
Excellent communication, negotiation & business development skills
Ability to work independently and drive sales growth
Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and RFQs
