ELECTRICAL DESIGN & PRODUCTION ENGINEER (LV PANEL WORKSHOP) @ POWER GROUP TECHNOLOGIES TANZANIA LIMITED
The Electrical Design & Production Engineer will lead the setup and operation of the LV Distribution Board Assembly Workshop. This role includes the creation of electrical designs such as SLD and schematics, as well as managing production, testing, and quality control. The engineer will be a key figure in ensuring that all products meet international standards before they leave the workshop.
In addition to technical design, the role involves team training and supervision to ensure efficient production cycles. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts on major power projects, contributing to the growth and success of the LV panel workshop in Dar es Salaam. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in LV panel design and assembly
Hands-on experience with ABB and Schneider systems and components
In-depth knowledge of IEC standards for electrical installations
Extensive experience in workshop or production environments
Proficiency in electrical design, including SLD and schematics
Experience in conducting quality control and FAT testing
Ability to supervise and train a production team
Strong understanding of workshop setup and operational flow
Capability to manage project timelines within a production setting
