PROCUREMENT & STORES OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ PMM ESTATES (2001) LTD
PMM Estates (2001) Ltd is looking for a seasoned Procurement & Stores Officer to manage the supply chain and administration functions for their Inland Container Depot in Dar es Salaam. The role involves overseeing the entire end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying requirements for fleet spares and operational supplies to negotiating with suppliers and finalizing contracts. The officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the logistics operations have a steady and cost-effective supply of necessary materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will take charge of stores management, implementing robust inventory control systems to minimize waste and ensure the accuracy of stock records. With a focus on efficiency and transparency, the Procurement & Stores Officer will manage supplier relationships and lead the procurement team toward achieving organizational goals. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in the supply chain field, professional registration with PSPTB, and a deep understanding of logistics-related procurement strategies.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
CPSP-T or CIPS certification (mandatory).
PSPTB Registration (mandatory).
At least 10 years of experience in procurement and stores management.
Proven experience in end-to-end procurement processes.
Strong skills in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
Expertise in inventory control across fleet spares and operational supplies.
Ability to manage complex supply chain administration tasks.
High level of integrity and professional ethics in procurement.
Strong analytical skills for stock optimization and cost reduction.
