OPERATIONS MANAGER (OILFIELD DRILLING WASTE) @ PLATINUMINC CONSULTANCY
The Operations Manager (Oilfield Drilling Waste) is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational excellence and financial performance of projects within the Oil & Gas sector in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will manage a team at a supervisory level, ensuring that all drilling waste services are delivered efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves significant oversight of project P&L, requiring the manager to review financial reports monthly and implement cost-optimization initiatives to maximize revenue.
Beyond financial management, the Operations Manager will lead efforts in supply chain coordination, logistics, and customer service. They are tasked with developing and implementing operational strategies that align with broader company goals, monitoring performance through detailed daily reports and trackers. The role also requires close collaboration with HSEQ teams to ensure that all audit findings are resolved promptly. This position serves as a primary point of contact for technical support during tender processes and customer inquiries, ensuring that operational forecasts and data are accurate and timely.

Key Requirements
Proven experience in an operational role with a minimum of 10 years in the Energy or Oil & Gas sector.
At least 8 years of experience managing teams at a supervisory or leadership level.
In-depth working knowledge of the oilfield drilling waste industry and related services.
Demonstrated experience in customer service, leadership, supply chain management, and logistics.
Ability to own project P&L and ensure strict compliance with established budgets.
Experience reviewing monthly P&L statements and proposing efficiency or cost-optimization initiatives.
Strong communication skills for reporting shutdowns, equipment failures, or personnel issues to senior management.
Capability to provide technical information and operational forecasts for projects and tenders.
Proficiency in maintaining daily reports, trackers, and dashboards with high accuracy.
Commitment to HSEQ standards, ensuring all findings are actioned and closed within 30 days.
