OPERATIONS MANAGER (OILFIELD DRILLING WASTE) @ PLATINUM INC CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Platinum Inc Consultancy Services is looking for a dedicated and seasoned Operations Manager specializing in Oilfield Drilling Waste to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will take full ownership of the operational aspects of energy and oil and gas projects, focusing on delivering high-quality services while maintaining a strong leadership presence. This role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between technical execution and financial oversight, ensuring that all drilling waste services are handled efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Key duties include reviewing monthly variations, proposing cost-optimization strategies, and maintaining seamless communication with the Service Delivery Manager regarding equipment status or personnel issues. The role also demands a strong focus on HSEQ compliance, requiring the manager to ensure all safety findings are addressed promptly to maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in an operational role within the Energy or Oil & Gas sector.
At least 8 years of experience managing teams at a supervisory or leadership level.
In-depth knowledge of the oilfield drilling waste industry and the specific services provided therein.
Strong background in customer service, leadership, supply chain management, and logistics.
Full capability to own project P&L and ensure strict compliance with established financial budgets.
Ability to review monthly financial reports and explain variations to the VP of Finance and General Manager.
Excellent communication skills for timely reporting of equipment failures or personnel issues.
Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the financial performance of complex projects regularly.
Skill in providing technical forecasts and operational support for project tenders and customer inquiries.
Proficiency in maintaining daily reports, trackers, and operational dashboards with high accuracy.
Capacity to manage and close HSEQ findings within a maximum 30-day window.
Strategic mindset to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with long-term company goals.
