WELLNESS AND SPAS MANAGER @ PLANET LODGES & LAIRS CAMPS
Planet Lodges & Lairs Camps is seeking an experienced and passionate Wellness and Spas Manager to lead and elevate its wellness offering across all properties in Tanzania, including Arusha, Serengeti, and Tarangire. This role focuses on delivering premium, personalised spa experiences while building a high-performing team and maintaining exceptional service standards. The manager will be responsible for designing seasonal and tailored wellness experiences that align with the brand’s premium positioning and the natural surroundings of the lodges.
Key duties include delivering expert massage and body treatments, conducting guest consultations, and mentoring spa teams across all locations. You will establish structured training programs, enforce hygiene and safety protocols, and manage spa inventory. Frequent travel between the properties is required to conduct quality checks and provide hands-on support to ensure a seamless integration of wellness into the guest experience.

Key Requirements
Internationally recognised qualification in Massage Therapy, Esthetics, or Holistic Wellness.
Certifications such as ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practising massage therapist.
Strong background in high-end hospitality such as luxury hotels or safari lodges.
Experience delivering personalised services to high-net-worth clients.
Experience developing or expanding wellness programmes in a professional setting.
Strong coaching and staff development skills to mentor diverse teams.
Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills for high-end clientele.
High attention to detail and professional presentation standards.
Willingness to travel frequently across properties in Arusha, Serengeti, and Tarangire.
