BIM MODELLERS – ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL @ PIVOT
Pivot is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modellers specialized in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines to join our professional team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating, managing, and reviewing high-quality 3D models using industry-standard BIM software to support complex construction and engineering projects. This role involves significant collaboration with various engineering departments to ensure that mechanical and electrical systems are seamlessly integrated and coordinated within the project's overall design framework. The candidates will be expected to perform clash detection, produce detailed construction documentation, and maintain rigorous BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should possess a strong technical background in MEP systems and have a proven ability to translate complex design concepts into accurate digital representations. Key Requirements
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for 3D modeling and coordination.
In-depth understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and design.
Ability to generate accurate 3D models from 2D engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience in performing clash detection and facilitating resolution between disciplines.
Knowledge of international BIM standards, protocols, and Level of Development (LOD).
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in BIM modeling within the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in technical documentation.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet strict project deadlines.
