TRACKING TECHNICIAN @ PHOENIX CAPITAL UGANDA
Phoenix Capital Uganda is seeking a skilled Tracking Technician to join our Kampala-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of GPS tracking devices across a variety of vehicles and assets. You will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure all units are operational and reporting correctly to our centralized system, providing critical data for our fleet management services. Additionally, you will be expected to provide technical support and training to clients on how to utilize the tracking platform effectively. You will collaborate with the operations team to optimize installation processes and ensure high standards of service delivery. Your technical expertise will play a vital role in protecting company assets and enhancing the reliability of our tracking solutions in the Ugandan market.
Key Requirements
At least a certificate or diploma in Automotive Engineering or Electronics.
Proven experience in GPS installation and fleet management systems.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
Proficiency in using tracking software and mobile applications.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel within Kampala and surrounding areas.
Analytical skills to interpret tracking data and reports.
