SAFETY OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS
PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS is hiring a Safety Officer to oversee all health, safety, and environmental aspects of our power generation maintenance operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all team members comply with safety standards, including Permit-to-Work and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. Your role is to promote a culture of safety and prevent workplace accidents through regular audits and training. As a Safety Officer, you will also be involved in incident investigation and root cause analysis to improve safety protocols. Your expertise will ensure that our on-site maintenance activities are conducted without risk to personnel or the environment in a demanding industrial setting.
Key Requirements
Relevant Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (HSE)
Experience in industrial safety or power plant environments
Certified knowledge of Permit-to-Work and LOTO procedures
Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits
Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting
Excellent communication and safety training skills
Strong understanding of local and international safety regulations
Experience in monitoring environmental compliance on-site
Attention to detail in reviewing safety documentation
Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating hazards
