ON-SITE TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL (3 POSITIONS) @ PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS
PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS is looking for skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our power generation maintenance team. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical components of large generators and associated power plant equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring mechanical reliability and operational safety. Candidates must be prepared to handle physically demanding tasks and work efficiently within a team. The position requires a focus on quality and safety, ensuring that all mechanical systems are maintained according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to support continuous 24/7 operations.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
Proven experience with large-scale mechanical systems or engines
Expertise in maintenance and repair of heavy industrial equipment
Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) for mechanical failures
Ability to perform condition monitoring and performance analysis
Commitment to strict industrial safety and LOTO procedures
Availability for short-term contracts and 24/7 shift work
Proficiency in using mechanical diagnostic and repair tools
Strong teamwork and communication skills in a technical setting
Physical fitness for on-site industrial maintenance tasks
