ON-SITE TECHNICIAN – ELECTRICAL (4 POSITIONS) @ PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS
PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS is seeking highly motivated Tanzanian candidates to join our on-site power generation maintenance team on short-term contracts. The On-Site Technician for Electrical works will be tasked with the hands-on maintenance, repair, and monitoring of electrical components within the power generation facility. You will work alongside a team of experts to ensure all systems are functioning at peak efficiency and meet all safety standards. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic, 24/7 operational setting. You will be expected to follow strict safety procedures while delivering high-quality maintenance services to prevent downtime and ensure consistent power supply.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or similar
Experience maintaining electrical systems in industrial environments
Proficiency in repairing and troubleshooting electrical circuits
Familiarity with heavy industrial equipment and power systems
Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on electrical failures
Experience with Permit-to-Work and LOTO safety procedures
Willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
Strong manual dexterity and attention to technical detail
Capability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints
Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities
