ON-SITE OPERATOR – ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL (18 POSITIONS) @ PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS
PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS is recruiting On-Site Operators for our power generation systems. Operators are responsible for the daily monitoring and control of electrical and mechanical systems within the plant. This role is critical for identifying potential issues before they cause downtime and ensuring that the plant operates within safe parameters. You will be at the front line of operations, requiring a high level of situational awareness and technical competence. Working in a 24/7 environment, you will follow operational procedures and safety protocols to maintain steady power generation and respond effectively to any system alarms or changes in performance.
Key Requirements
Relevant Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience in operating power plants or industrial machinery
Familiarity with monitoring systems and control panels
Ability to support troubleshooting and minor on-site repairs
Knowledge of performance data analysis and reporting
Understanding of safety requirements including Permit-to-Work
Flexibility to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
Attention to detail for monitoring system performance metrics
Effective communication skills for team coordination
Quick decision-making skills during operational changes
