We are hiring 18 Operators to join our electrical/mechanical operations team. This role is fundamental to the continuous running of our power generation facilities across Tanga, Tabora, and Mwanza. Operators will be responsible for monitoring daily operational performance, overseeing system outputs, and ensuring that all equipment is running within specified parameters. This role requires candidates who are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining a constant watch on site systems. You will form part of a larger operational team tasked with meeting short-term power generation goals in a high-stakes environment.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience in power plant operations or similar plants.
Strong observational and monitoring skills.
Ability to track performance metrics and operational logs.
Knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
Understanding of LOTO and Permit-to-Work protocols.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work in a continuous 24/7 rotational shift.
Excellent communication skills for shift handovers.
Strong focus on operational efficiency and system safety.
