ON-SITE ENGINEER - MECHANICAL (3 POSITIONS) @ PGN CAREER SOLUTIONS
PGN Career Solutions is recruiting 3 Mechanical Engineers for on-site power generation maintenance projects. Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of heavy mechanical equipment, conducting regular system inspections, and ensuring the mechanical integrity of power plant infrastructure. The role involves working closely with technical teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance. You will be assigned to support operations across our Tanga, Tabora, and Mwanza sites. We are looking for professionals with robust experience in heavy machinery who can maintain complex mechanical systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical energy infrastructure under short-term contract terms.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in power generation or heavy equipment maintenance.
Technical skill in mechanical diagnostics and repair.
Knowledge of industry-standard maintenance best practices.
Experience with Permit-to-Work and safety compliance.
Ability to execute LOTO procedures during maintenance.
Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis (RCA).
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 industrial environment.
Capability to work on-site in Tanga, Tabora, or Mwanza.
Strong attention to detail for mechanical inspections.
