Our client, a prominent player in the FMCG industry, is seeking qualified and experienced CR Cum Drivers. This vital role involves supporting robust sales and distribution operations across the Mwanza region. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction through excellent service, and actively participating in effective merchandising strategies. A key aspect of this position is the achievement of assigned monthly sales targets, thereby directly impacting the company's market presence and growth. The responsibilities of a CR Cum Driver are diverse and impactful. You will be expected to operate and maintain company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal vehicle performance. Beyond driving, the role requires a proactive approach to sales, including servicing existing customer accounts and actively identifying new business opportunities to expand the client base. Maintaining high merchandising standards and ensuring product availability at customer outlets are crucial. Furthermore, candidates will be tasked with preparing accurate daily sales reports, immediately reporting any vehicle damages, and diligently safeguarding company assets, including cash, products, and empties. Building and fostering strong, lasting customer relationships is paramount to success in this dynamic role.
Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Valid Class C or E Driving Licence
Good English Language both spoken and written
Excellent driving skills
Basic Vehicle repairs skills
Ability to achieve sales targets and manage customer accounts
Strong interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
High level of integrity for safeguarding company assets
Proficiency in preparing daily sales reports
