The National Consultant for Eswatini will provide critical local insights and support for energy-sector activities in the country. Responsibilities include assessing the local regulatory environment, engaging with national institutions, and navigating the unique stakeholder landscape in Eswatini. The consultant will serve as the primary liaison for project efforts within Eswatini, ensuring local needs and priorities are fully integrated.
Key Requirements
Degree in Energy, Economics, Public Policy, or related field
In-depth knowledge of Eswatini’s energy sector
Familiarity with local regulatory environment and institutions
Strong understanding of the local stakeholder landscape
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to produce high-quality local field reports
Experience working with Eswatini government and private energy players
Strong research and analytical capabilities
Commitment to energy access and sustainability
Ability to work independently as a national representative
