The Clean Cooking Technology and Infrastructure Specialist will provide technical expertise on LPG, electric cooking, biogas, and improved biomass technologies. The incumbent will assess existing infrastructure, define technical standards for institutional cooking systems, and provide actionable recommendations for scaling clean cooking solutions across Tanzania. This is a vital role for enhancing energy access and efficiency in public and institutional settings.
Key Requirements
Advanced qualification in Engineering, Energy, or a related field
Experience in LPG, electric cooking, and biogas technologies
Knowledge of improved biomass technologies and standards
Ability to conduct technical audits of cooking infrastructure
Proficiency in institutional cooking system design
Strong technical report writing skills
Experience in energy-efficient technology implementation
Analytical mindset for problem-solving
Ability to work in remote and urban project sites
Competency in project monitoring and evaluation
