A leading Oil & Gas Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regulatory Compliance Professional to join its team in Abuja, Nigeria. This role is pivotal for managing end-to-end City Gas Distribution (CGD) project compliances, ensuring that all operations align with local and national regulatory standards. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the company and various government authorities, facilitating smooth project execution through rigorous adherence to statutory requirements and proactive stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities include overseeing all regulatory approvals, managing documentation and filings, and providing expert guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for a professional with a minimum of five years of experience in the field, specifically within the energy or utility sector. The position requires a proactive individual capable of navigating complex legal frameworks and maintaining excellent relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure long-term operational success and compliance with all industry-specific mandates.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Regulatory Compliance.
Proven track record in handling end-to-end City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects.
Hands-on experience in coordinating with regulatory authorities and government bodies.
Strong understanding of statutory compliances and regulatory frameworks within Nigeria.
Excellent documentation and filing skills for maintaining detailed compliance records.
Ability to support project teams on regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the Oil & Gas industry.
Effective communication skills for high-level stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Analytical mindset to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents accurately.
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
