BUYER - MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL @ PETROEXCELTECH
Petroexceltech is seeking a dedicated Buyer for Mechanical or Electrical components to join our project procurement team in Lagos, Nigeria. As a key player in our Oil and Gas operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end purchasing process of critical industrial equipment. This role requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of the EPC, Power, and Petrochemical industries while maintaining high standards of procurement excellence. In this position, you will manage the Procure-to-Pay cycle, handle import procurement, and work closely with international vendors. You must have a solid grasp of Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and contract management. Key Requirements
Diploma, B.E, or B.Tech. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
1 to 18 years of professional experience in procurement roles.
Strong background in the Oil and Gas, EPC, Power, or Petrochemical industries.
Hands-on exposure to the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
Proven experience in handling import procurement and international trade logistics.
Solid understanding of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
Expertise in managing Letters of Credit (LC) and diverse payment terms.
Strong ability to negotiate and interpret complex contract conditions.
Technical proficiency with mechanical or electrical equipment and materials.
Capability to work effectively in an office-based environment in Lagos, Nigeria.
