Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited (SMLC) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Support Services Officer to join their large-scale gold mining operation. The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative, and logistical support, ensuring the seamless delivery of non-core site services. This role is pivotal in coordinating camp administration, catering, housekeeping, travel, and accommodation logistics to maintain a high standard of living and working conditions for site personnel.
Working in a remote, industrial environment, the Support Services Officer will manage diverse administrative tasks and act as a primary point of contact for service contractors. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of working in a roster-based system, and adept at balancing multiple priorities. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or Logistics.
3–5 years of experience in administrative, hospitality, or camp services.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating service providers and contractors.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluency in Swahili and high proficiency in English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced mining environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Pronto.
Capability to plan and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
High level of integrity and commitment to HSE standards.
