ELECTRICAL PLANNER @ PERSEUS MINING (TANZANIA) LIMITED (SMLC)
Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Planner to join our professional team in Sengerema, Mwanza Region. This critical role is responsible for supporting the effective planning and execution of electrical maintenance activities to ensure optimal operational performance within our gold mining facility. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in minimizing equipment downtime, enhancing system reliability, and optimizing life-cycle costs for all electrical infrastructure.
In this capacity, you will be tasked with developing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules, preparing detailed work packages, and coordinating essential resources to support production targets. You will work closely with diverse teams, including the Planning Superintendent, Electrical Supervisors, and Engineering departments, ensuring that all maintenance information is accurately captured in the CMMS. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the company's commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence in the mining industry.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance planning within a mining or industrial environment.
Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to create detailed work packages and maintenance schedules.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical mindset with the ability to optimize equipment availability.
Hold a relevant trade certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
