GRADUATE METALLURGIST @ PERSEUS MINING (TANZANIA) LIMITED
Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited is seeking a motivated and skilled Graduate Metallurgist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the metallurgical department to monitor, test, and optimize processing circuits, contributing directly to the success of our plant operations and overall production targets.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all metallurgical activities align with safety and environmental standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The incumbent will have the opportunity to engage in complex mineral processing tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Maintenance and Technical Services, and provide essential technical support to ensure the efficiency of our gold mining operations.

Key Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong technical foundation in mineral processing principles.
Ability to adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Capacity to lead, coach, and provide technical guidance to team members.
Proficiency in interpreting metallurgical data for operational improvements.
Willingness to undertake external professional training.
Flexibility to work outside normal hours when necessary.
Ability to travel for company business as required.
Demonstrated commitment to a zero-harm safety culture.
Strong communication and collaborative skills for cross-departmental alignment.
