GOLD ROOM SUPERVISOR @ PERSEUS MINING (TANZANIA) LIMITED
Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Gold Room Supervisor to join their processing operations team. The primary objective of this position is to manage the daily operations of the gold room, ensuring the efficient, secure, and safe handling of precious metals throughout the processing cycle. The successful candidate will work closely with the Gold Room Coordinator to maintain high production standards and regulatory compliance within the facility.
As a key member of the processing plant, the supervisor will oversee equipment maintenance, process flow management, and adherence to safety protocols. The role involves managing team workflows, monitoring technical output, and ensuring that all gold recovery processes are executed according to company standards. Key Requirements
Form VI Education level
Diploma or Technical qualification in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in metallurgical or mineral processing roles
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a gold room supervision role
Strong understanding of gold room operations and specialized equipment
Ability to undertake external training as required by the operation
Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours when necessary
Availability for business travel as required by the company
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in safety and quality control standards in mining
