GOLD ROOM COORDINATOR @ PERSEUS MINING (TANZANIA) LIMITED
Perseus Mining (Tanzania) Limited (SMLC) is seeking a Gold Room Coordinator to play a crucial role in the processing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of precious metals. The successful candidate will report to the Metallurgical Superintendent and oversee day-to-day activities within the gold room facility, maintaining strict security and operational protocols.
In this role, the coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the processing of gold doré, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The incumbent must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, be prepared to undertake external training as required to keep up with industry advancements, and exhibit flexibility by working outside normal hours when operational demands arise. Travel for company business will also be a periodic requirement.

Key Requirements
Form VI Education level
Diploma or Technical qualification in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in mineral processing
Minimum 5 years of experience in a gold room supervision role
Strong understanding of gold room equipment and plant operations
Ability to work outside normal working hours
Willingness to travel on company business
Strong technical foundation in mineral processing
Proficiency in safety management and precious metal security
Capacity to undertake external professional training
