QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ PERITUS EXIM INFRASTRUCTURE INNOVATION INTEGRATION
Peritus Exim is hiring a professional Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and contracts for our road infrastructure projects in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project remains within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. This involves conducting detailed quantity take-offs, preparing bill of quantities, and managing procurement processes. You will play a vital role in the financial health of our projects by providing accurate cost estimations and managing variations as they arise. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your civil engineering knowledge to the financial aspects of infrastructure development. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the successful delivery of roads that connect and empower communities. Your meticulous approach to cost control and contract management will be essential for the continued success of Peritus in the region.
Key Requirements
B-tech in Civil Engineering.
6 to 12 years of experience in road construction projects.
Expertise in cost management, measurement, and financial valuation of works.
Familiarity with international contract forms such as FIDIC.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized quantity takeoff software.
Ability to prepare comprehensive tender documents and detailed bills of quantities.
Strong negotiation skills for managing procurement and subcontractor agreements.
Experience in risk management and implementing cost control measures.
High level of mathematical accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong report writing skills for documenting financial progress and variations.
