CONSTRUCTION MANAGER @ PERITUS EXIM INFRASTRUCTURE INNOVATION INTEGRATION
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee large-scale water projects in Tanzania. This leadership role involves managing all site operations, from the initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring that every phase of construction meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, responsible for coordinating labor, equipment, and materials while maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and technical specifications. As a key member of the Peritus team, you will play a significant role in delivering infrastructure that supports sustainable development. The role requires a candidate who can solve complex site-level challenges and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders. You will be expected to implement best practices in construction management and lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and excellence. Your leadership will ensure that our water projects are built to last and serve the needs of the community effectively.
Key Requirements
B-tech in Civil Engineering.
More than 10 years of experience specifically in water-related construction projects.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure construction sites.
Solid understanding of water supply, drainage systems, and hydraulic engineering principles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams and subcontractors.
Commitment to ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Experience in project budgeting, resource allocation, and material management.
Advanced ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Exceptional conflict resolution and decision-making skills in a site environment.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders and clients.
