ACCOUNTANT @ PERITUS EXIM
Peritus Exim is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dodoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. This role requires a professional who can handle daily accounting tasks with precision and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
In addition to daily ledger entries and account reconciliations, the Accountant will assist in preparing monthly financial reports and monitoring budgets. Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 2-3 years of proven working experience as an Accountant
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Sage
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity
Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili
Knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and statutory compliance
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
