WORKSHOP MANAGER - HEAD OF FABRICATION @ PEOPLE PROJECT CO
People Project Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager - Head of Fabrication to lead our production operations in Arusha. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire fabrication lifecycle, ensuring that all structural steel and mechanical projects are executed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and within budget.
The Workshop Manager will manage day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, team leadership, and machine maintenance. You will be expected to drive efficiency in production planning and implement safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident work environment. This role requires a balance of technical expertise in steel and sheet metal fabrication with strong management capabilities to supervise fabrication teams effectively.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Fabrication Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication or industrial manufacturing
Proven experience in supervisory or management roles
Strong practical knowledge of structural steel and sheet metal fabrication
Expertise in reading, interpreting, and executing engineering drawings
Proficiency in welding processes and workshop equipment operation
Experience in production planning and resource allocation
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of industrial workshop safety standards and maintenance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting software
