ACCOUNTANT @ PEAK CONSULTANCY
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our professional team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing ledger accounts, and ensuring that all financial transactions are documented in compliance with regional regulations. This role involves a high degree of responsibility in financial monitoring and reporting to support business operations. The successful applicant will focus on handling VAT compliance and filings, which are critical components of the financial landscape in the UAE. You will also be expected to utilize advanced Excel techniques to perform data analysis and reconciliation tasks. This position offers a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and analytical skills are highly valued.
Key Requirements
At least 2 years of professional accounting experience specifically within the UAE.
Strong proficiency in Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations and filing processes.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Proven ability to manage and maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records.
Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ability to perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and account analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial documentation.
Capability to work independently and manage strict monthly and annual deadlines.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification preferred.
