OPERATIONS MANAGER @ OUTSTANDING SOLUTIONS
OutStanding Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee operations across two luxury safari camps located in the pristine Serengeti and Tarangire regions of Tanzania. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and performance, driving exceptional guest experiences through consistent quality and operational excellence. Your duties will encompass managing comprehensive procurement, logistics, inventory, and cost controls to maximize efficiency and profitability while maintaining the luxurious ambiance of our camps. You will play a crucial role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting camp managers and supervisors, cultivating a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the operational teams. This position requires regular monitoring of operational performance, ensuring full compliance with company standards and industry regulations, and proactively implementing improvement initiatives. Key Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience managing lodge, hotel, or safari camp operations.
Proven leadership with the ability to manage multiple properties and diverse teams effectively.
Strong operational, financial, procurement, and inventory management skills.
Ability to balance quality, efficiency, and cost control in a demanding environment.
Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-driven with excellent attention to detail.
Willingness to travel regularly between Arusha, Serengeti, and Tarangire.
Exceptional guest service orientation and commitment to delivering luxury experiences.
Experience in coaching and developing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork.
Proficiency in monitoring operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to manage logistics and supply chains efficiently in remote locations.
