We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Booking Professional to join our team in Arusha. The primary responsibility involves managing reservations and booking records, ensuring that every guest detail, preference, and trip itinerary is documented with high accuracy. You will serve as the central point of contact for lodges, camps, and local suppliers, facilitating smooth operations and fostering strong professional relationships within the tourism and safari sector.
In addition to operational coordination, the role involves financial oversight by reviewing invoices and payment statuses. You will be expected to verify alignment with operator rates and manage the follow-up process for deposits and outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will leverage Google Workspace to maintain organized, digital records, support itinerary adjustments, and assist in the efficient resolution of last-minute operational challenges.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Tourism, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in administration, reservations, customer service, or tourism.
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar).
Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings and administrative tasks accurately.
Excellent written and spoken English with a professional tone.
Prior work experience in Zanzibar (open to expatriates).
Ability to manage complex safari itineraries and guest dietary requirements.
Proactive problem-solving skills for last-minute travel adjustments.
Strong communication skills for building relationships with camp and lodge suppliers.
Capability to reconcile financial invoices and monitor payment schedules.
