TECHNICAL MARKETING OFFICER (TMO) @ OSHO TANZANIA
Osho Tanzania is seeking a dedicated Technical Marketing Officer (TMO) to drive brand awareness through on-site, face-to-face interaction with consumers for all Osho Tanzania products. The successful candidate will be responsible for exceeding sales targets and building strong, lasting customer relationships through direct field engagement. Key activities include conducting farmer visits, managing demonstration pilots, and planning comprehensive field sales and marketing campaigns based on preliminary research.
The role also involves strategic business expansion, such as identifying and appointing credible stockists to increase the distribution network within your assigned region. You will develop a robust knowledge of all product lines, negotiate with retailers for merchandise placement, and promote business opportunities to vendors and dealers. Additionally, the position requires the collection of rich market intelligence data to understand market share and competitor trends, ensuring that Osho products maintain a strong and branded presence in distributor outlets.

Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales and Marketing as a direct report to a Sales head in the Agro-Chemical business.
Proven experience working in a sales department managing distribution for agriculture or agro-chemical based companies.
Significant experience handling General Trade Lines in Agriculture, Veterinary, Public Health, or Industrial products.
Proficiency in computer skills and data management.
Ability to conduct and manage farmer visits and demonstration pilots effectively.
Strong capacity to plan and execute field sales and marketing campaigns based on research.
Skill in identifying, selecting, and appointing credible stockist partners to expand distribution networks.
Advanced negotiation skills for dealing with retailers and third-party partners regarding promotional placement.
Strong analytical skills to possess and interpret rich market intelligence data regarding competitors and price trends.
